20+ Recipes for Homemade Flavored Coffee Creamer

By richel on November 5th, 2014

homemade coffee creamer

My hubby and I love coffee in the morning with that lovely and oh so expensive flavored coffee creamer.  It is super expensive and it seems that prices are continuing to rise.  You can make this for just over 1/2 the cost of those that you buy in the store.  If you can grab the ingredients on sale, grab it for less than half the cost.

Ingredients for the Base:

  • 14oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 3/4 cup milk or cream (whole, lowfat, skim, almond, soy, heavy cream, half & half etc – whatever your preference, however the more fat, the more creaminess)

Then you need to choose which is your flavor choice.  If the flavor your choose has an ingredant that is powdered (like cinnamon or cocoa) then heat about 1.2 cup of the base and disolve the power in that first…it helps so that your creamer is not grainy!

Choose Your Flavor

French Vanilla Creamer

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract OR vanilla coffee syrup (most grocery stores have this now where they sell coffee or get it at Stabucks)

Vanilla Bean Coffee Creamer

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste (vanilla extract will not work)

Chocolate

  • 2-3 tablespoons chocolate syrup (any brand, I like Hershey’s)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Almond

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Removing your makeup can be be a pain and some of those products just seem to dry your skin out. This gentle recipe is great for removing your makeup with out being irritating. Use cotton balls or a washcloth with the makeup remover and rub very gently to remove all the makeup off your face.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups warm  water
  • 1-2 Tbsp of liquid coconut oil (not the same measurement as in its solid form)
  • Face wash soap or baby body wash
  • Container  for storage

Directions:

  1. Start by pouring warm water into the storage container.
  2. Add a tbsp. (or two) of coconut oil that has been melted in it’s liquid state.
  3. Next, add a squirt of face wash and stir everything together.
  4. You may need to shake the container before each use, but it will keep for several months.

Now that you have learned how to make your own hand soap.  You might want to give it as gifts!  This is a super cute way to present it as a gift or even to use in your own home!  It has always been one of my favorite hostess gifts!

Here is what you need:

  • Mason jar with lid
  • White or colored paint (if you want to paint the jar lid)
  • Outdoor Modge Podge
  • Paintbrush
  • Nail
  • Hammer
  • Old Dish or hand soap with pump dispenser

First you need to decide if you want to paint you mason jar lid.  If you do then you want to take the two lid parts and pain them, let them dry and then seal them with the Modge Podge sealer.  Once that is done you will want to put the lid back on the jar and carefully make a hole in the middle of the lid.

To do this, you will need to use a nail and a hammer and carefully pound the nail through the metal lid making a large enough hole that the pump straw can fit inside.

Then place in the pump and fill with soap or lotion!  There you have it!
