Recipe: Pancake Bites

This is such a fun recipe, especially for those morning where you are running behind. Extremely tasty also.

Pancake Bites 

Directions:

1. Mix up  favorite pancake mix.

2. Pour into muffin tins, add fruit, nuts, sausage, bacon, chocolate chips, etc.

3. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minute

DIY Outdoor Lighting

Do you need a creative way to decorate? Maybe you need to line the stairs to your doors for all those Trick or Treaters that will be arriving before you know it. This is a great, inexpensive way to do so. Just start saving all those empty cans now, and you will have plenty when you need them.

DIY-Lighting-Option

Instructions

Materials:

  • Empty Cans (Soup cans, vegetable cans work great)
  • Paint
  • Tealight Candles

What to do:

1. Wash out empty cans

2. Paint your desired color

3. Poke holes into the cans. You can do a specific pattern, or random holes are nice also.

4. Insert Tealight candle

5. Watch your sidewalk or desired area light up, and create a nice ambiance.

Watermelon Cake

Summer is wrapping up & Watermelons are going on sale everywhere. Why not give this one a shot. I actually made it the other day and it was incredibly simple & delicious to boot!

Ingredients

Watermelon

Cool Whip

Greek Yogurt

Sliced Almonds

Fresh Fruit of your choice

Directions

1. Cut ends off watermelon creating a cylinder shape.

2. Cut skin off watermelon & level out ends.

3. Mix Cool Whip with 2 c. Greek Yogurt (I used Vanilla Greek Yogurt, and it was fabulous)

4. Frost the cake with Cool Whip/Yogurt Mixture. Be Generous.

5. Decorate sides with sliced almonds

6. Top with Fresh Fruit

Enjoy!
