F2BF Reader Post

Let’s start the day off with something FUN!  I received this awesome picture from a Fun 2B Frugal reader.  Can you guess how much she paid for all these back to school supplies?  ONLY $0.05!  WOW!  You go girl, keep following the deals!

I’ve gotten a lot of static on how she did the deal.  She did price match everything pictured.  This was done at Walmart.  Check out the deal scenario below.

(2) Z-Grip 5 pack pens Staples $1 each-used (2) $2/1 Coupons, making $2 OVERAGE

(8) 24 count Crayola Crayons Toy’s R Us $0.25 each

(5) 5 count Avery insertable dividers Staples $0.01 each **Must have a $5 minimum purchase before q’s**

Note- she did have a $5 minimum purchase, it was not a back to school deal, so I did not add that.  Everything pictured above totaled $0.05!

Thanks, Vanessa!

Can she give us the details? Where? How? :)

Hey! This was definitely fun, fun, fun! What I did was:
Price matched the (2) Z-Grip 5 pack pens from Staples @ $1 each. With them I used (2) $2/1 Coupons, making $2 OVERAGE. That $2 overage went towards the (8) 24 count Crayola Crayons price matched from Toy’s R Us @ $0.25 each, making them FREE.
The (5) 5 count Avery insertable dividers Staples $0.01 each BUT you **Must have a $5 minimum purchase before q’s**. I had 1 other item I purchased that made up for my $5 minimum.
    Hope this helps! Thanks Rudy!
