Are you a Saving Star member yet? If not, why!?! Is it because you don’t know what it is? Let me explain how Saving Star works, and by the end you should be ready to upload your customer loyalty card (grocery rewards card) and start saving even more money when you shop!
First you sign up with Saving Star, and you can do that HERE. Then, you choose the coupons that you like or think you will use. Saving Star adds those coupons to your store loyalty cards and when you scan your loyalty card at checkout the coupon is activated. By activated I do not mean that a $$ amount comes off your total like a normal coupon. Saving Star recognizes that you bought the item you had a Saving Star coupon for, and it automatically adds it to your Saving Star account.
Huh? Confused? That’s ok. Let me state that when you upload Saving Star coupons to your loyalty card, you can STILL USE A PAPER COUPON on top of the Saving Star digital coupon! Yay. So the paper coupon comes off your total bill at the register, AND you get the Saving Star coupon amount added to your Saving Star account.
Now you might have the question, why does it go into the account, and what can I do with it? Simple. It goes into the account and once it reaches $5, you can cash it out!!! That’s EXTRA money you are saving ON TOP of using coupons! Saving Star will e-mail you when money has been added, and there are several different cash out options such as Pay Pal, Amazon Gift Card, your bank account, and so on. Pretty cool right?
