Kellie Pickler Shaves Her Head To Support Breast Cancer
This post has nothing to do with deals or saving money. But the story really touched me and I wanted to share it with everyone.
Today Kellie Pickler shaved her head to support her cancer fighting friend Summer Miller. Her friend Summer was diagnosed back in June and will be undergoing chemotherapy as soon as September 6th. Summer is a mother of two and had always checked herself regularly as breast cancer ran in her family. She didn’t however, get regular mammograms. Most people wouldn’t think of getting a regular mammogram, especially at such a young age as 36. But, if breast cancer runs in your family you should not delay. You should make it a regular part of your yearly exams. The best way to fight cancer is to find it sooner rather than later.
During ‘Good Morning America’ this morning Kellie also stated that “Cancer does not discriminate”. Everyone should remember that.
Summer has been declared ‘cancer FREE‘ after a double mastectomy, but is still taking on chemo treatments to ensure the cancer does not come back.
These girls have shown such a wonderful strength to others with cancer and those who need to be aware of cancer. To see the behind the scenes video, go HERE.

As I was standing in line at Walmart today something caught my eye that made me laugh. They had these single Ritz Crackerfuls priced at $0.98. Now from a marketing standpoint I understand the value of having these placed here and at that outrageous price. But as a couponer, one we know NEVER to grab anything while in the checkout line and two don’t buy it if it’s not on sale! ;) Anyways, as a comparison Dollar Tree has these exact same Ritz Crackerfuls, the full size 5 count box, for only $1! Already you are saving money! But, if you add the Save $1.00 on any 2 NABISCO Cookies or Crackers coupon to it you will only pay $0.50 per box! You tell me which is the better deal!
