Dollar Tree Accepting Coupons *My Trip*
Okay, it’s officially here! Dollar Tree is now accepting coupons! I just want to clarify a few things. The employees are very new to this so if you decide to go try it out for yourself, be patient with them! Also, if there are a few people behind you and only one lane open, let the others go ahead of you. They don’t scan the coupons, (at least they didn’t at my store) they key them all in one by one. So, now that I know this, I will place each coupon with the product it goes with to save time. They were checking each coupon to make sure the coupon and item matched. They also asked if every coupon was a manufacturers coupon and how they could tell. I did a little bit of explaining on that one :) Also, I had two printable coupons and they wanted to know if they were copies since they were the exact same. They thought they might have been scanned. I showed them that they were both in color, which actually doesn’t prove that they were not copies. Then I explained how they can check the coupon I.D. #’s or Pin #’s.
Now time for the breakdown. I had planned on getting several more items than I did, but when I got there the store was out of stock on A LOT. They were restocking so I’m thinking that Sunday isn’t the best day to go shopping. Anyways, I want to point out one more thing. I made a mistake. I used a Disney coupon on the Disney sandwich bags, which are actually two different companies. I though it was one in the same, but when I looked at the fine print I realized differently. I am still human after all.
Total Before Coupons: $11.41
Total After Coupons: $4.91
