Almost Free Movie for the Kids
As of June 4th (this might depend on your location), participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theaters will be kicking off their 9-week Summer Movie Express 2013 and encouraging moviegoers of all ages to climb aboard to enjoy a selection of G or PG-rated films for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 10:00 AM.

You can also visit your local Cinemark in June, because participating Cinemark theaters will also be kicking off their Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse promotion and offering up 10 tickets to select G or PG-rated movies for ONLY $5 when purchased in advance at the Box Office (that makes each movie only $0.50!).
If you’d rather only purchase a few tickets to select shows, you will pay just $1 per ticket at the box office! Patriotic Fruit and Pound Cake Trifle
This was one of the easiest desserts and I promise you, it looks like you spent hours! All you need is fruit and a Sara Lee Pound Cake and Ready Whip (unless you want to make fresh whipped cream)
Ingrediants
- One pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- Two pints fresh blue berries
- Two pints fresh raspberries (optional)
- One Sara Lee Frozen Pound Cake
- One star cookie cutter
- Clear Glass serving bowl
Slice your pund cake into 1/2 inch thick slices. using a cookie cutter, cut out star shapes. If you have multiple sizes of star shapes even better!
Then begin to layer the star cake pieces, spoonfuls of whipped cream and the fruit. I put the stars up against the glass so that you can see them.
This is also really cute served individually, in mason jars. Keep cold until serving or the whipped cream will melt!

DIY Holiday Table Cloth
I love Dollar Store Crafts! They are the best! This one is great because you can use the two packs that many Dollar Stores have or buy them in bulk from some place like Oriental Trading and make a really cute table cover on the cheap!
This one is easy to make. If you sew, you know what to do, just sew them together and you are set! You can make it any size you like in just about 45 minutes to an hour!
If you don’t sew you want to find iron on adhesive tape and then bind them together using a very hot iron and the adhesive tape. It is a simple craft that you will wan to use every year!
