My first time couponing at Dollar General and I discovered my store won’t take any other Dollar General coupons when you use the $5 off total coupon. The $5 coupon takes a little off of each item to total $5. So it is as if you have already used a Dollar General coupon on each of your items and can’t use another one. I noticed your match up has other Dollar General coupons in conjunction with the $5 off total coupon am I missing something or is your store just different in this regard?

    Thanks!

I get what you are saying. I am sure there are some stores that allow it and some that don’t. The only item listed with a Dollar General coupon are the dog treats, and there is an alternative coupon listed to use. This scenario should work smoothly if you use all the manufacturer coupons and just the one Dollar General $5/$25 coupon. As always, YMMV.
