Walgreen’s Balance Rewards

It’s time to pre-enroll for the new Walgreen’s Balance Rewards Program.  For those of you who haven’t heard yet, it’s a new rewards program Walgreen’s is offering.  They will keep the Register Rewards deals for now, but this seems to be just an addition!  So, as a bonus, if you enroll early you could win an extra 1 million points on your new card!  They are giving away 10 million points and splitting it between 10 lucky members!

More about the new program:

• Members can earn points for making healthy choices
• Lenient expiration policy-points will not expire as long as the member is a regular Walgreen’s shopper
• Members can earn points in-store and online
• Exclusive benefits for AARP members

So, you will still be able to get your weekly Register Rewards deals.  This is a store loyalty card so to get any sale prices you will need to have one, just as any other store loyalty card.  You will also need it to use the Walgreen’s store coupons.  If you choose not to pre-register, cards will go live on September 16th in stores.
