Kohl’s is finally giving us a Kohl’s Rewards program!  Yay!  Kohl’s is one of my favorite stores to shop at already, but it moves closer to the top of my list now that I get points for shopping there!  This program is only in a few pilot stores right now testing the waters.  Check out the details of the Kohl’s Rewards Program listed below.

Kohl’s Rewards Program

1. Kohl’s customers can sign up for a FREE Kohl’s Rewards card in the store

2. Customers scan their rewards card with every purchase

3. $1 spent = 1 point. Reach 125 points and you will earn a $5 off coupon.

4. If you forget your Kohl’s Rewards card, simply have the cashier search by your phone number so you get proper credit for your purchase.

5. Kohl’s Charge card holders should receive something in the mail this Tuesday, 10/9 on how to sign up for your rewards card online. You can also sign up in the store, it’s up to you.

6. With your welcome packet you will receive a 15% off coupon.

7. Fill out your online Kohl’s Rewards profile and earn 125 bonus points, which is enough to earn your first $5 off coupon!

*This program has been out for a little over a week now, and there have been some difficulties.  If you have received your card at the store, and had it scanned, you should be able to finish your online profile with the link I gave you above.  If you are one of the few having trouble, leave a comment below and someone might be able to help you out.  Please keep in mind that this Kohl’s Rewards program is NEW, so some issues may arise.  That’s why not all Kohl’s store have this program yet.  Kohl’s is working hard on fixing all glitches.

    What is different about the rewards from a Kohls charge card and the rewards card? Don’t II get rewards by simply using the Kohls charge card? Why do I have to carry TWO cards?????

      As long as you finish the profile online your kohls card will sync with the rewards card. So you will only need to bring the charge card. Now the nice thing is that you don’t have to use the charge card in order to use rewards, in that case you would need the rewards card but it could be looked up if you don’t want to carry it. I like the points so I just put mine on my key chain :)

    First after doing everything asked to do this site kept frozen
    I never knew if I got my 125 points $5.00 rewards for signing with the program I never also received a confirmation e mail.
    I went shopping yesterday $300.00 and some dollars more , then went shopping on sunday again some $50.00 , nobody could tell me if I got points for those purchases or not at the store?????????
    Please help, what do I do?

    I received my card in the mail, shopped and had it scanned, spending approximately $150. I learned the $150 could not be applied to the rewards program because I did not register on-line. I registered today and shopped yesterday. Can I have this $150 applied to my rewards program. Thank you.

      Once you finish your online profile, you should be able to add your purchase from yesterday.

      I know it can be aggravating. If it won’t work and none of the Kohl’s employees can help you, I’d say wait a while. It’s a new program and it’s in the trial phase. This is a trial run, it’s not yet in all Kohl’s stores, only a select few. So, the store they selected to try it on are essentially guinea pigs. Eventually they will have all the kinks worked out and it will officially roll out in all stores. That’s what some people are waiting for. If you don’t like the run a around, and the frustration, wait it out.

      This is a trial phase. It’s not ready to go and Kohl’s made that clear that this is a trial run. That is why it is not available in all Kohl’s stores yet. They are working very hard to fix all the kinks.

      Everyone needs to realize this site is Fun 2B Frugal. This is NOT an official Kohl’s website! This post is about their new rewards program and provides the link for you to complete your online profile. If your attempt is unsuccessful, it is not my fault. I am sorry so many people are having trouble. Again, this is a trial phase! They are working out the kinks and yes, they are testing it on YOU!     It;s not working Can’t even get a screen to sign up It would be nice to have things working before you launch them and have so many people frustrated. People working in the store couldn’t even help me.

    I signed up the first day of this program and have made several purchases since and nothing shows up. The cashier thought did not know anything or the customer service desk person. what good is it?

    i just got my rewards card and the lady in the store had already cashed me out and then i asked her about the rewards program and she just gave me the packet with the card and everything in it so i figured that i would be able to activate it and everything online myself and thats not what is happening…do i have to go back into the store to have it activated????

      They need to scan your card at the store, unless you are able to scan your card in with your phone.

    Can’t register my rewards card. It asks for my password, but I haven’t
    registered yet, so it won’t let me go any further. I’ve spent over $150.00
    but none of of the money I’ve spent can be put towards my rewards card without it it being registered! Hopefully this issue can be resolved!

    I have tried SEVERAL times to register my Kohl’s Reward ID# and I am being told repeatedly that my number is invalid. When the cashier gave me the booklet she told me she could not enter my information and as I was reading the booklet it appears to me she could have signed me up then and there. I am disappointed as in this one particular purchase I spent $261.00!! I spend ALOT of money, alot at my Fuquay Varina store. Is there a way someone can help me complete this? Is there a way to get credit for this purchase of $261.00? I do have my receipt. Please advise me at your earliest convenience.       Unfortunately, you will have to talk to Kohl’s Customer Service to make sure you are signed up.

    I had the same problem as many others here. I registered or at least had went through the process on their website on Fall and it turns out that it didn’t work. I have made over $500 worth of purchases thinking the rewards were being applied.

    I e-mailed the rewards department and she confirmed I registered 6/5/13 not back in Fall when I know I did. She also politely offered to add any receipts for the last 60 days. I find it completely insulting. I did what I was suppose to and now because of problems on their side I am being slighted

    Kohl’s rewards are tabulated at the end of each month. Two business days later you will receive an awards certificate in your email. You may print that and take it to your Kohl’s store or copy and paste the barcode number and pin from your email to shop online. This is all assuming you were able to successfully register for the Rewards program.

    I was having some trouble registering. I had registered at the store and they told me to finish registration online. But when I did, it said my Rewards number was associated with a different email address. I called kohl.com customer service. I was not require to enter any numbers on my phone, I was instantly transferred to a human and I was on hold for about 10 seconds. So there are no hassles there. They transferred me to the Rewards customer service, and didn’t wait on hold at all, another human answered (all native English speaking agents), she was able to help me very quickly (my email address had a typo from when I registered in the store), and I was able to successfully register.

    So don’t hesitate to call customer service for assistance. Not the one for your credit card, but for kohls.com or for the Rewards program directly (that number is on the back of your Rewards card).

    I only registered successfully today, so I can only assume I’ll receive my rewards certificate approximately August 2nd based on the above info. I retrieved that info. from the kohlrewards.com web site under FAQ: https://kohlsrewards.com/cp/faqs.aspx (next to last question under the Points section of the FAQs page).

    Have had rewards card from when it first started but was not told I had to register on line.
    I just went in to register but have no way of nowing if I am registered, From that page it went to my bill. Please let me know if I am registered. I feel I have lost a lot of points by not being told to registor on line

    I got my code at the chino hills store. When I tried to enter the code at my web page, it directed me back to the kohls.com main page and ask me to sign-in. From this point on there seems to be some confusion on the signing in. Please check if I have finished the process yet? Because on the kohls.com home page when I tried to sign in there was comment like ‘some info is missing’ ‘Integration exception’.

    I have been trying for 1 hour to enroll even when logged in to my account. I received the email from Kohl’s Rewards yet the website shows an error message that it does not recognize my email. However, I tried to start from scratch and create an account, but it says my email is already enrolled.. i’m confused.

    i was given this application a while back and didnt bother to enroll online.after using it for my first purchase i through the application packet away. a few weeks later i bought some stuuff from kohls after which the cashier gave me another application. i then tried to start the application process and it states its invalid. what do i do now to correct this.

    Thought I was getting “rewards” for a year now–spent hundreds (probably about $2000 since last Oct) . & got no rewards. I was “supposedly” registered at the store last Oct. (2012) by a cashier.

    After repeated attempts to sign on to Kohl’s NEW program, we finally gave up. We continued to be told that our e-mail address had been entered in another program. I guess we will just go with the ads that we get in the mail. Truth is, we had previously tried to sign up – with no success. I guess Obamacare is not the only site with glitches.
